St Margaret's cottage is located in a secluded setting on the edge of Coldingham Conservation Village in rural Berwickshire, Scotland. It has a charming south-facing garden completely walled and hedged, and is in a particularly peaceful country lane with pleasant walks nearby. The cottage nestles in a slight hillside, and the sea can be seen from the driveway, which is lined with shrubs and flowers.
Coldingham village is within easy walking distance (300 metres) and there are many sites of interest and amenities nearby.
The cottage has recently been sympathetically restored and refurbished to a very high standard by the present owners. The original features and the special atmosphere of the cottage, which is over 100 years old, have been retained. There is parking for two cars. St.Margaret's has a no smoking policy.
The accommodation comprises: 1 double bedroom; 1 twin-bedded room (beds can be pushed together); bathroom with large shower (not bath) and under floor heating; living room with a beautiful Norwegian cast iron stove (gas-fired), colour TV/Video, payphone, CD and iPod players; conservatory with under floor heating; fitted kitchen with fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and a comfortable dining area . Garden furniture is also provided.
